IJEVAN WINE FACTORY

Ijevan Winery is in one of the scenic of mountainous Armenia, Tavush Region. Ijevan Winery OJSC is located on the bank of beautiful river Aghstev. The winery was established in 1976 as a wine material producer for other wineries with a processing capacity of 10.000 tons of grapes per year. It has different facilities for receiving, sorting and storing. The winery is located close to white and red grape vineyards.
 Encouraged with the success, the staff of the winery continues working on the quality enhancement and assortment widening.
 The wines have been successfully introduced to the USA, French and Russian markets which were exported through EcoWine & Spirit, UniLine, SokoFram, Tavinko and Astroi companies. The Russian Tavinco Company imported 25.000 bottles of different wines and successfully introduced them to the consumers of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The company participated in LENEXPO 2000 in St. Petersburg, Russia and won 2 silver medals. In July, 2001 the company was awarded with 3 silver medals for "White Ijevan", "Armenian Saperavi", and "Vazashen" wines when participated in ArmProdExpo 2001 First International Exhibition in Yerevan, Armenia. The products of the winery were presented in Made in Armenia 2001 Exhibition in Glendale, CA; in Wine Fair 2001, in International Exhibition "PIR", in Drinks Russia Exhibition and in 10 Years of CIS International Exhibition in Moscow, Russia.
